My Video Project

As a video project at A&M, I filmed Mr. Herd (a Texan Cattle Rancher). We spent the evening driving around his ranch and talking about his life and Texas agriculture. It was an honor to have the opportunity to spend one-on-one time with Mr. Herd and learn about his operation. My goal with this project was to tell a story. The weathered and true story of what a cowboy’s life is like in America in 2024.

After collecting footage on the ranch, Mr. Herd and I sat on his porch overlooking his land, and recorded the voiceover of the poem I wrote.
